Job Description:
The Chief Officer is responsible for overseeing deck operations, safety management, and cargo handling on LPG carriers. This key leadership position supports the Master and ensures the efficient running of deck and navigation duties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing deck crew and supervising cargo loading/unloading operations.
• Ensuring compliance with vessel safety and environmental policies.
• Conducting safety drills and maintaining navigational watch.
• Maintaining deck inventory, safety gear, and LSA/FFA equipment.
• Assisting the Master with operational planning and reports.
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certification with Chief Mate’s license (Gas Carrier).
• Minimum 2 years experience as Chief Officer on LPG carriers.
• Medical fitness certificate and valid tanker endorsements.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Employment Details:
