Chief officer for Bulk Carrier Vessel (Mozambique)

Job Description:
Lianson Fleet Group Berhad is seeking an experienced Chief Officer to join a Bulk Carrier vessel operating in Mozambique. The company has an immediate senior officer requirement for November 2026 and an additional upcoming crew requirement for late November / early December 2026.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting the Master with vessel navigation and management.
• Supervising deck operations and cargo handling.
• Coordinating deck maintenance and safety activities.
• Managing deck crew and watchkeeping duties.
• Ensuring compliance with cargo procedures and maritime regulations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as Chief Officer onboard Bulk Carrier vessels.
• Relevant experience in the applied rank.
• Valid STCW certification package.
• Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC).
• Valid passport, Seaman's Book, and medical fitness certificate.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong professional knowledge and safety awareness.
