Chief Officer for Oil Products Tanker Vessel

Job Description:

An urgent vacancy is available for an experienced Chief Officer onboard an Oil Products Tanker flying the Comoros flag. The vessel was built in 2016 and has a GRT of 2,998.

The Chief Officer will be responsible for deck department operations, cargo handling, and maintaining onboard safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising deck operations and managing deck crew.
• Planning and overseeing cargo loading and discharging operations.
• Ensuring safe cargo handling and tanker procedures.
• Maintaining deck equipment and safety systems.
• Assisting the Master with navigation and vessel management.

Requirements:

• Valid Chief Officer Certificate of Competency (COC).
• Previous Oil Products Tanker experience required.
• Previous experience in the same rank is mandatory.
• Good English communication skills.
