Job Description:
The Chief Engineer is responsible for the overall management of the engine department, ensuring machinery operates efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee engine room operations and maintenance.
• Supervise engineering crew and assign duties.
• Monitor machinery performance and fuel consumption.
• Maintain engine room records and compliance documentation.
• Respond to machinery emergencies and implement preventive measures.
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates and Chief Engineer license.
• Medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Nationality: India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, or Turkey.
• Experience on Non-DP offshore or merchant vessels.
