Job Description

A maritime company is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join an AHTS Non-DP vessel.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the engine department and ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the vessel's propulsion machinery, auxiliary engines, and technical systems.

This opportunity is suitable for qualified marine engineers with proven Chief Engineer experience onboard AHTS or PSV vessels.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage all engine department operations onboard
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of propulsion and auxiliary machinery
• Supervise engine room personnel and maintenance activities
• Monitor machinery performance and technical readiness
• Coordinate planned maintenance and repair work
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and maritime safety standards
• Maintain engine room records and technical documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 24 months of experience as Chief Engineer onboard AHTS or PSV vessels
• Previous experience in the same rank is mandatory
• Valid seafarer's documents and certificates
• Good English communication skills
• Strong technical and troubleshooting abilities
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
