Job Description
Solpia Marine is recruiting Engine Cadets for its merchant fleet. The successful candidates will receive practical training and assist the engineering department with engine-room operations and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist engineering officers and ratings with routine duties.
- Participate in machinery inspections and maintenance.
- Assist with engine-room housekeeping and safety procedures.
- Follow onboard training and familiarisation programs.
- Participate in drills and emergency response exercises.
Requirements
- OIC License – required.
- Relevant maritime training and documentation.
- Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Applicable STCW certificates.
- Good English communication skills.
