Key Responsibilities

Deck Cadet

• Assist deck officers with navigational watchkeeping duties.
• Participate in deck maintenance and routine vessel operations.
• Assist with safety inspections and emergency drills.
• Learn cargo operations and LNG vessel safety procedures.
• Complete assigned onboard training and maintain the required training records.

Requirements

• Fluent in English.
• Valid US Visa – mandatory.
• Valid BLGT Certificate – mandatory.
• Relevant maritime education and qualifications for the applied cadet position.
• Strong motivation to pursue a career in the maritime industry.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of an international crew.
• Good communication, teamwork and safety-awareness skills.
• Valid passport and other required travel documents.
