Key Responsibilities

Engine Cadet

• Assist engineering officers with engine-room operations.
• Participate in machinery inspections and planned maintenance.
• Learn the operation of propulsion, auxiliary and LNG-related systems.
• Follow engine-room safety and environmental procedures.
• Complete assigned practical training and maintain training records.

Requirements

• Fluent in English.
• Valid US Visa – mandatory.
• Valid BLGT Certificate – mandatory.
• Relevant maritime education and qualifications for the applied cadet position.
• Strong motivation to pursue a career in the maritime industry.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of an international crew.
• Good communication, teamwork and safety-awareness skills.
• Valid passport and other required travel documents.
