Bosun for Oil Products Tanker Vessel

Job Description:

An urgent vacancy is available for an experienced Bosun onboard an Oil Products Tanker flying the Comoros flag. The vessel was built in 2016 and has a GRT of 2,998.

The Bosun will supervise deck ratings and assist the Chief Officer with daily deck operations and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising deck crew and assigning daily tasks.
• Organising deck maintenance, cleaning, and painting.
• Maintaining mooring equipment and deck machinery.
• Assisting with cargo-related deck operations.
• Ensuring compliance with onboard safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates and relevant qualifications.
• Previous Oil Products Tanker experience required.
• Previous experience in the same rank is mandatory.
• Good English communication skills.
