Job Description

Kvarnership is looking for an experienced Bosun to join a Chemical Tanker vessel for an upcoming deployment in November 2026.

The Bosun will supervise deck ratings and support the safe execution of deck maintenance, mooring, anchoring and cargo-related operations in accordance with vessel procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work of deck ratings
• Organise deck maintenance, painting and preservation activities
• Participate in mooring, anchoring and cargo operations
• Inspect and maintain deck equipment and tools
• Assist the deck officers with daily operational duties
• Ensure compliance with onboard safety procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Bosun onboard a vessel is required
• Chemical Tanker experience is an advantage
• Valid STCW certification package
• Valid passport, seaman's book and medical certificate
• Good English communication skills
• Strong leadership and safety awareness
