Job Description

Benteng Marine Services is seeking an experienced Bosun to join a Bulk Carrier vessel operating worldwide.

The successful candidate will supervise deck ratings and support safe deck operations, maintenance activities, mooring operations, and cargo-related duties.

Position Available

• Bosun – USD 2,262/month

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily deck maintenance activities
• Assign duties to Able Seamen and Ordinary Seamen
• Participate in mooring, anchoring, and cargo operations
• Inspect and maintain deck equipment and tools
• Ensure compliance with onboard safety procedures
• Support the Chief Officer with deck operations

Requirements

• Valid Panama Seaman's Book – mandatory
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as Bosun onboard Bulk Carrier vessels
• All documents must remain valid for more than one year
• Previous experience working with multinational crews
• Availability to join immediately
• Relevant rank-specific certificates and documentation
• Good English communication skills
• Strong leadership and safety awareness
