Job Description:
The 2nd Engineer assists the Chief Engineer in machinery operation, maintenance, and engineering team supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain engine room machinery.
• Assist in maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
• Monitor engine and auxiliary system performance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Support safety and environmental compliance in the engine room.
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Nationality: India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, or Turkey.
• Experience in engine room operations on Non-DP vessels.
