Job Description:
We are urgently seeking an experienced 2nd Engineer to join an Emergency Response and Rescue Vessel (ERRV) operating in the Netherlands. The position is available for ASAP joining and will run until 26 August 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer with strong maintenance skills and previous experience on similar-sized offshore vessels to support safe and efficient engine room operations onboard.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the operation, maintenance, and repair of engine room machinery and auxiliary systems
- Supporting planned and preventive maintenance to ensure safe and efficient vessel performance
- Monitoring equipment condition and reporting defects or technical issues to senior engineering staff
- Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and company operational procedures onboard
- Working closely with the Chief Engineer and vessel crew to maintain engine room readiness and reliability

Requirements:
- Valid certification for the 2nd Engineer position
- Valid STCW certificates
- Medical fitness certificate
- Previous experience on similar-sized offshore vessels
- Strong maintenance experience
- Good command of English
