Job Description

Nimbus Marine Group is seeking a qualified Second Engineer for its ASD Tug operations in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will assist the Chief Engineer with the operation, maintenance, and repair of vessel machinery and technical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Engineer in managing engine-room operations.
• Monitor the performance of main engines and auxiliary machinery.
• Carry out routine maintenance and technical inspections.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
• Maintain engine-room safety and operational standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months of sea service in rank as Second Engineer.
• Good electrical knowledge is mandatory.
• Valid Second Engineer Certificate of Competency (CoC).
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid Seaman's Book, passport, and medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant engine-room experience and technical knowledge.
