Oiler for Oil / Chemical Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Global Gateway Crewing Services Inc. is recruiting an Oiler for an Oil/Chemical MR Tanker. The Oiler will assist the engine department with machinery watchkeeping, maintenance, cleaning and routine engine-room operations under the supervision of engineering officers.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist engineers with engine-room machinery operation and maintenance.
• Perform routine lubrication and cleaning of machinery.
• Monitor equipment and report abnormalities.
• Assist during maintenance and repair activities.
• Maintain engine-room cleanliness and housekeeping.

Requirements

• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seafarer documents.
• Relevant Oiler experience.
• Tanker experience is an advantage.
