Fitter for Bulk Carrier Vessel

Job Description

MAR AQUALINK MARITIME, INC. is recruiting three Fitters for bulk carrier vessels. Candidates should have at least 12 months of experience in their current rank and be ready for deployment.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Carry out mechanical maintenance and repair work.
• Assist with fitting, fabrication, and workshop tasks.
• Inspect tools and equipment and report defects.
• Support the engineering team during machinery maintenance and repairs.
• Follow onboard safety procedures and maintain a clean working area.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as a Fitter in the maritime industry.
• At least 12 months of experience in the present rank.
• Valid and available seafarer documents.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate, as applicable.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Willingness to join as soon as possible.
• Experience with a mixed Chinese crew may be relevant to the assignment.
