Fitter for Oil / Chemical Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Global Gateway Crewing Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Fitter for an Oil/Chemical MR Tanker. The Fitter will support the engine department with mechanical maintenance, repairs, fabrication and servicing of machinery and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance.
• Assist with servicing pumps, valves, pipelines and machinery.
• Carry out fabrication, fitting and workshop duties.
• Support planned and corrective maintenance activities.
• Follow safe working practices during repairs and hot work.

Requirements

• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seafarer documents.
• Relevant Fitter experience.
• Tanker experience is an advantage.
