Job Description
We are urgently recruiting an experienced Fitter to join a Bulk Carrier vessel.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repair, and fabrication works in the engine room and on deck machinery in compliance with company procedures, STCW requirements, and international maritime safety standards.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals with proven experience in the same rank on Bulk Carrier vessels and readiness for immediate deployment.
Key Responsibilities
• Performing mechanical repairs and steel fabrication works
• Maintaining and repairing engine room and deck machinery
• Assisting with planned maintenance system (PMS) tasks
• Supporting engine department operations
• Ensuring safe use of tools and welding equipment
• Complying with ISM Code and safety regulations
Requirements
• Proven experience as Fitter on Bulk Carrier vessels
• Valid STCW certificates relevant to the rank
• All documents with minimum 18 months validity
• Good English communication skills
• Strong technical skills and safety awareness
