AB for Oil Chemical Tanker Vessel

Job Description:

Status Maritime Corp. is recruiting 3 experienced Able Seamen (AB) to join its crude Oil Chemical Tanker fleet.

The successful candidates will support deck operations, assist with cargo-related activities as assigned, and maintain safe working conditions in accordance with company procedures and tanker safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform routine deck maintenance, cleaning, painting, and preservation.
• Assist with mooring, unmooring, anchoring, and other deck operations.
• Support cargo and tanker operations under the supervision of deck officers.
• Maintain deck equipment and follow onboard safety procedures.
• Participate in emergency drills and comply with HSE requirements.

Requirements:

• Valid Able Seaman (AB) Certificate.
• Relevant experience on crude oil or oil chemical tankers.
• Valid STCW certificates as required for the position.
• Valid seafarer's medical fitness certificate.
• Valid passport and Seaman's Book.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work as part of a team.
