Job Description

Benteng Marine Services is recruiting an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join a Bulk Carrier vessel operating on worldwide trading routes.

The successful candidate will assist with deck operations, watchkeeping duties, mooring activities, cargo operations, and routine maintenance.

Position Available

• Able Seaman (AB) – USD 1,650/month

Key Responsibilities

• Perform deck duties as assigned by the Bosun and deck officers
• Participate in mooring and anchoring operations
• Assist with cargo operations and port activities
• Carry out painting, cleaning, and general deck maintenance
• Maintain deck equipment and working areas
• Participate in safety drills and follow onboard procedures

Requirements

• Valid Panama Seaman's Book – mandatory
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as Able Seaman onboard Bulk Carrier vessels
• All documents must remain valid for more than one year
• Previous experience working with multinational crews
• Availability to join immediately
• Valid rank-specific certificates and relevant documentation
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
