Job Description

Benteng Marine Services is seeking an experienced Ordinary Seaman (OS) to join a Bulk Carrier vessel operating worldwide.

The successful candidate will assist with routine deck operations, vessel maintenance, cleaning, mooring activities, and other duties assigned by the deck department.

Position Available

• Ordinary Seaman (OS) – USD 1,150/month

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with general deck maintenance and cleaning
• Support painting, chipping, and preservation work
• Assist during mooring and anchoring operations
• Maintain deck equipment and working areas
• Support cargo operations as instructed
• Follow safety procedures and participate in emergency drills

Requirements

• Valid Panama Seaman's Book – mandatory
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as Ordinary Seaman onboard Bulk Carrier vessels
• All documents must remain valid for more than one year
• Previous experience working with multinational crews
• Availability to join immediately
• Relevant seafarer certificates and documentation
• Good English communication skills
• Physically fit and safety-conscious
