Job Description
The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company is currently recruiting experienced maritime professionals to join its Ferry Vessel fleet on permanent contracts.
The company is seeking qualified officers, engineers, and ratings who are committed to delivering safe, reliable, and efficient passenger and freight ferry operations while maintaining the highest standards of maritime safety and customer service.

Job Responsibilities
Depending on the assigned rank, duties may include:
- Perform duties according to assigned rank and company procedures.
- Support safe navigation and daily ferry operations.
- Operate and maintain propulsion, auxiliary, electrical, and deck equipment.
- Carry out routine inspections, maintenance, and operational tasks.
- Ensure compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW, ISM Code, and company HSE policies.
- Participate in emergency drills and safety training.
- Maintain operational readiness throughout voyages.
- Work effectively within a professional multinational crew environment.
Requirements
General Requirements
- Previous experience in the applied rank is preferred.
- Valid STCW 2010 certification package.
- Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) for officer positions.
- Valid Passport, Seaman's Book, and Medical Certificate.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities.
- Physically and medically fit for sea service.
