Chief Cook for Chemical Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Aaugustea is recruiting 2 Chief Cooks for Chemical Tankers. The Chief Cook will be responsible for preparing meals for the crew, managing galley operations, maintaining food hygiene standards, and ensuring proper storage and handling of provisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing daily meals for the crew.
• Maintaining high standards of galley cleanliness and food hygiene.
• Managing provisions and minimizing food waste.
• Ensuring correct storage and handling of food supplies.
• Following onboard safety and food-handling procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Chief Cook / Cook qualification as applicable.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
• Relevant experience on merchant or tanker vessels.
• Food hygiene certification as applicable.
• Valid Seafarer's Book and passport.
• Proficiency in English communication.
