Job Description

Solpia Marine is recruiting experienced Chief Cooks for its merchant fleet. The Chief Cook will be responsible for meal preparation, galley management, food hygiene, and catering services for the crew onboard.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily meals according to crew requirements.
• Plan menus and manage food provisions.
• Maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene.
• Keep the galley, stores, and equipment clean and organized.
• Follow food safety and onboard sanitation procedures.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as Chief Cook.
• Previous merchant vessel experience.
• Valid food safety / hygiene certification as applicable.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book.
• Good English communication skills.
