Passenger ship sank in China

A terrible shipwreck has happened in China.
At least eight people died and seven others were reported missing as a result of an overturning of a passenger ship in southwestern China.

The incident occurred at 16:50 local time on one of the rivers in Guizhou province.
Now a large-scale search and rescue operation has been launched at the site of the emergency.

It is known that the craft is designed to carry 40 people, but there were more passengers on board.

The bodies of eight victims were found, 31 people were saved. The fate of seven more people is not yet clear.
