Construction of the largest cruise ship in the world is finished

The ship will set off for its maiden voyage in March 2022.

The world's largest cruise ship Wonder of the Seas by Royal Caribbean's is almost ready for commissioning. It is reported that all construction work, as well as the necessary inspections, tests and sea trials have already been completed, only minor finishing work and decor remain.

The vessel is 362 meters long and 64 meters wide and can accommodate 6988 guests and 2300 crew members.

Guests will have access to 16 decks, 24 lifts, a huge terrace with a swimming pool, bar and plenty of sun loungers, an interactive open-air children's playground with spectacular views. In addition, guests can relax in a real park of living tropical plants and ride the attractions in a special water park.

Wonder of the Seas will set sail on its maiden voyage on March 4, 2022, from the port in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA, to the Caribbean and then to Europe for summer cruises. In May, Wonder of the Seas will embark on a seven-day cruise from Barcelona and Rome across the Mediterranean to destinations such as Palma de Mallorca (Spain) and Capri (Italy).

The liner was built at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in France. During sea trials, the vessel covered 2,870 kilometers, and its maximum speed was 43.4 kilometers per hour.
