Another cruise ship of an American company has become the center of an outbreak of coronavirus infection

The ship, which was supposed to return to Miami on December 26 after an 8-day journey, was forbidden to stop at Bonaire and Aruba, the company noted. There are 2,497 passengers and 1,112 crew members on board. At the moment, there is no exact information about the number of infections.

Representatives of the company stressed that those who tested positive for coronavirus are in isolation.

Earlier, an outbreak of coronavirus was detected on two Royal Caribbean International airliners. In the first case, the incident occurred on board the ship Symphony of the Seas, which was making a seven-day voyage. At the same time, as representatives of the company noted, all those infected were vaccinated against coronavirus infection and showed a mild course of the disease.
Then the outbreak was detected on board the Odyssey of the Seas liner, where 55 fully vaccinated passengers and crew members were infected with the coronavirus.
