We are urgently seeking a qualified Electro-Technical Officer / Electrical Engineer to join our mixed international crew on a modern DP3 Offshore Construction vessel. The role is available for immediate mobilisation. The vessel's operational schedule includes upcoming projects in the United States, making a specific visa a mandatory requirement.
You will hold primary responsibility for all electrical and electronic systems on board, including power generation, distribution, DP systems, and automation. This is a hands-on role that also includes supporting general engine room maintenance and operations. Familiarity with Kongsberg systems is highly desirable for this technologically advanced vessel.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company and vessel policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
· Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all electrical, electronic, automation, and control systems, including DP (Kongsberg), power management, and thruster drives.
· Perform watchkeeping duties as required and provide technical support for all vessel operations.
· Assist the engine room team with general maintenance and mechanical tasks as needed.
· Ensure compliance with all safety management systems (SMS), classification society rules, and flag state regulations.
· Maintain accurate maintenance records, defect reports, and spare parts inventory for electrical systems.
· Supervise and coordinate electrical work carried out by other crew or subcontractors.

Requirements:
· Mandatory Legal Requirement: A valid USA B1 Visa specifically endorsed for wind/wind farm activities.
· Valid Certificate of Competence as an Electro-Technical Officer (ETO CoC).
· Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Ship's Electrician, Electrical Engineer, or ETO.
· Preferred Experience: Prior work on Offshore Construction, Installation, or Heavy Lift vessels.
· Technical Advantage: Experience with Kongsberg control and automation systems (DP, thruster controls).
· Good command of the English language (written and spoken), essential for communication in a mixed crew and with onshore management.
