Job Description

Navis is seeking an experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to join an MPSV DP2 vessel operating in the North Sea.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the vessel's electrical, electronic and automation systems, supporting the safe operation of DP2 equipment and ensuring the reliability of onboard technical systems.

Candidates must have previous ETO experience on MPSV, OCV or DSV vessels and hold all mandatory offshore and DP-related certificates.

Position Available

• Electro Technical Officer (ETO) – EUR 350 per day

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and electronic equipment onboard
• Monitor and maintain automation, control and alarm systems
• Support the safe and reliable operation of DP2 systems
• Carry out electrical inspections, testing and preventative maintenance
• Assist with fault diagnosis and technical repairs
• Maintain maintenance records and technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and maritime safety standards

Requirements

• Valid Electro Technical Officer Certificate of Competency (CoC) with Flag State Endorsement
• Minimum 18 months of actual sea service as ETO onboard MPSV, OCV or DSV vessels
• Valid DP Maintenance Certificate
• Valid HUET with CA-EBS
• Valid STCW certification package
• Valid passport and seaman's book
• Valid offshore medical certificate
• References from previous employers
• Updated CV with complete sea service history
• Good English communication skills
• Strong technical knowledge and safety awareness
