ETO on DSV DP2 (KSA)

Position: Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) – DSV DP2

Location: Saudi Arabia (KSA)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join a DP2 Diving Support Vessel (DSV) operating in Saudi Arabian waters. The contract duration is 90 days, with joining scheduled for the beginning of November 2026.

Candidates must have a valid Electro-Technical Officer’s License, a DP Maintenance Certificate, and an IMCA DP Logbook. A minimum of 24 months of actual onboard experience as an ETO on DP2 vessels is mandatory. Saudi Aramco-approved candidates are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electronic systems onboard the vessel.
• Monitor and maintain DP-related electrical, control, and instrumentation systems.
• Ensure the safe and reliable operation of electrical equipment and machinery.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and technical inspections in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with applicable maritime safety standards.

Requirements:

• Valid Electro-Technical Officer’s License / Certificate of Competency (CoC).
• Valid flag State endorsement and all applicable STCW certificates.
• DP Maintenance Certificate.
• IMCA DP Logbook.
• Minimum of 24 months of actual onboard experience as an ETO on DP2 vessels.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English, with a minimum Marlins test score of 70% in every section.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
• Saudi Aramco approval is an advantage.

• Salary: USD 325 per day.
