Job Description
TOS People is seeking a qualified Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) with DP Maintenance experience for a Jack-Up Barge project.
The successful candidate will maintain and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, automation, power-distribution, and DP-related systems, supporting the safe and reliable operation of the vessel.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and electronic equipment.
- Inspect power-generation and distribution systems.
- Carry out maintenance on automation, control, alarm, and monitoring systems.
- Support maintenance and troubleshooting of DP-related electrical and control equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and corrective repairs.
- Maintain technical records and report equipment defects.
- Coordinate with engineering personnel to support vessel readiness.
- Follow electrical safety procedures and applicable HSE requirements.
Requirements
- Previous ETO experience on Jack-Up Barges or similar offshore vessels.
- Valid ETO qualification or other applicable professional certification for the position.
- Relevant DP Maintenance experience – required.
- Relevant DP Maintenance training or qualifications, where specified by the employer.
- Valid STCW certificates and applicable endorsements.
- Valid medical fitness certificate and Seaman's Book, where applicable.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, automation, instrumentation, and troubleshooting.
- Good English communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within an offshore technical team.
- Availability for the required mobilisation schedule.
