Job Description:
We are currently seeking an Apprentice ETO to join a DP3 Cable-Laying / Trenching Support Vessel operating in the United States. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior electrical professional to gain hands-on offshore experience while supporting the vessel’s electrical and electronic systems. The role involves assisting the Electro-Technical Officer in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing onboard electrical and DP-related equipment within an offshore project environment.
Joining is scheduled for 25.05 under a Polish contract with a rotational schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting the ETO with maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic systems
• Supporting DP system and automation equipment under supervision
• Participating in routine inspections and fault-finding activities
• Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and company policies
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records as directed
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Relevant maritime electrical education or training
• Willingness to work offshore and learn in a DP vessel environment
