Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join a PSV DP2 (Platform Supply Vessel) operating in Nigeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel’s engineering systems while ensuring compliance with company procedures and international maritime regulations. This is a rotational offshore assignment with an ASAP start date. Candidates with previous experience working in African countries are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Manage the operation and maintenance of all engine room machinery and auxiliary equipment.
- Supervise the engineering team and ensure safe and efficient engine room operations.
- Implement planned maintenance schedules and maintain technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE standards and international maritime regulations.
- Coordinate with the Master and onboard departments to support safe vessel operations.

Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates
- Medical fitness certificate
- Proficiency in English communication
- Full and valid STCW certification package
- Previous experience as a Chief Engineer
- Experience working in African countries
