Job Description

Nimbus Marine Group is urgently looking for an experienced Chief Engineer to join an ASD Tug operating in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the vessel's engineering department, maintaining machinery, and ensuring reliable operation of all technical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the engine department.
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of main engines and auxiliary machinery.
• Plan and supervise preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor electrical systems and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with engineering and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 24 months of sea service in rank as Chief Engineer.
• Previous experience on ASD Tug or AHTS vessels is mandatory.
• Good electrical knowledge is required.
• Valid Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency (CoC).
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid Seaman's Book, passport, and medical fitness certificate.
• Strong technical and management skills.
