Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join an ASD Tug operating in Rotterdam and EU waters from 10th June until 1st July.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all engine room operations, ensuring safe and efficient performance of vessel machinery, and maintaining compliance with company and maritime regulations.
Candidates with previous ASD Tug experience and strong technical knowledge of high-powered engine systems are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, duties may include but are not limited to:
Managing daily engine room operations and maintenance
Supervising machinery performance and technical troubleshooting
Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards
Planning and monitoring preventive maintenance activities
Maintaining operational readiness of propulsion and auxiliary systems
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid Chief Engineer CoC
Experience on ASD Tugs preferred
Experience with engine power above 3000 kW
Good English communication skills
