Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced 2nd Engineer / Technical Officer to join an Offshore Installation Vessel for a project based in Rotterdam. The assignment will run from 16 June 2026 to 25 July 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation of engine room systems, ensuring vessel readiness through maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. Working closely with the Chief Engineer, you will contribute to the reliability and technical performance of the vessel throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting in the operation, maintenance, and repair of main and auxiliary machinery
• Monitoring engine room systems and ensuring optimal technical performance
• Performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical equipment
• Maintaining engineering logs, records, and maintenance documentation
• Ensuring compliance with company safety, environmental, and operational procedures

Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Valid UK Visa (mandatory)
• Valid GWO Working at Heights certificate
• Valid GWO Manual Handling certificate
• Valid HUET certificate
• Valid Chester Step certificate
• Previous offshore installation vessel experience preferred
