Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)
Job Description:
We are currently recruiting a qualified Chief Engineer for a Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barge (DP2) operating in KSA waters. The vessel is engaged in offshore operations requiring strong technical leadership and full responsibility for engine room operations.
Contract duration is 60 days with immediate joining (ASAP). The offered wage is 400 USD per day.
The candidate must hold a valid Chief Engineer’s License and meet the required sea service experience as outlined below.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Managing and supervising all engine room operations and personnel
• Ensuring safe and efficient operation of main engines, auxiliary machinery, and DP systems
• Planning and overseeing maintenance and repair schedules
• Maintaining compliance with international maritime regulations and company policies
• Preparing technical reports and maintaining accurate engine room documentation
Requirements:
• Valid Chief Engineer’s License
• Minimum 12 months experience in the rank of 2nd Engineer on Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barge OR
• Minimum 12 months experience in the rank of Chief Engineer on AHTS vessels
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Marlins test with minimum score of 60% in all sections
• Full COVID-19 vaccination
• Proficiency in English communication
