Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced 2nd Engineer to join an SCOV DP2 vessel operating in the North Sea. The vessel has a GRT of 9423, was built in 2009, sails under the Norwegian flag, and is equipped with a 150-tonne SWL crane.
The contract duration is 4 weeks with an expected joining date on 27 May.
Candidates must hold a valid Second Engineer’s License, HUET with CA-EBS, and DP Maintenance certification. The company will consider only EU Nationals holding a valid UK Work Permit or Ukrainian nationals under UK Holder of Protection Status.
Previous offshore experience on MPSV/OCV/DSV vessels is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting the Chief Engineer in the safe and efficient operation of the engine department
• Maintaining and troubleshooting main engines, auxiliary machinery, and onboard systems
• Ensuring compliance with company safety procedures and maintenance schedules
• Supervising engine room watchkeeping and technical operations
• Supporting DP maintenance activities and equipment reliability onboard

• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• EU Nationals with valid UK Work Permit or Ukrainian nationals under UK Holder of Protection Status
• Minimum 12 months of actual onboard experience in the rank of 2nd Engineer on MPSV/OCV/DSV offshore vessels
• Second Engineer’s License
• HUET with CA-EBS certificate
• DP Maintenance certificate
• Full Covid-19 vaccination required
