Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Second Engineer to join a SCOV DP2 vessel (GRT 9423, built in 2009, Norwegian flag) operating in the North Sea. The vessel is equipped with a 150-tonne SWL crane and is engaged in offshore operations. The contract duration is 4 weeks with a planned joining date on 27th May. Daily rate is 350 EUR. The role requires strong technical expertise, including engine room management and DP maintenance. Candidates must be prepared for offshore working conditions. Only EU nationals holding a valid UK work permit or Ukrainian nationals under UK protection status will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting Chief Engineer with engine room management and operations
• Overseeing maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment
• Supporting DP system maintenance and troubleshooting
• Supervising engine room crew and ensuring safe operations
• Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and company regulations

Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• EU nationals with valid UK Work Permit or Ukrainian nationals under UK protection status
• Minimum 12 months of offshore experience as 2nd Engineer on MPSV / OCV / DSV vessels
• Second Engineer’s License
• DP Maintenance certification
• HUET with CA-EBS certification
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
