Job Description:
We are currently seeking a 2nd Engineer for an OSV DP2 vessel operating in the North Sea.
The contract duration is 4 weeks, with a joining date on 2 January.
Due to vessel flag requirements, only EU nationals holding a valid UK Work Permit or Ukrainian nationals under UK holder of protection status will be considered.
The role requires proven experience on DP2 vessels and valid engineering and DP maintenance certification.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting the Chief Engineer in operation and maintenance of engine room machinery
• Supervising engine room watchkeeping and maintenance routines
• Maintaining DP-related systems in accordance with procedures and regulations
• Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards
• Participating in planned maintenance and reporting technical issues
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Second Engineer’s License
• DP Maintenance Certificate and valid DP Logbook
• Minimum 18 months experience on similar OSV DP vessels in the rank of 2nd Engineer
• EU nationality with valid UK Work Permit or Ukrainian with UK holder of protection status
• Proficiency in English communication

• Salary: 340 EUR/day
