Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced 2nd Engineer to join a CONRO vessel (CMA CGM Canarias) operating on worldwide trading routes. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified marine engineers with previous experience in rank who are ready for immediate deployment.
The successful candidate must hold a valid Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch (OICEW) License and have proven experience serving as a 2nd Engineer onboard merchant vessels.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assisting the Chief Engineer in the safe and efficient operation of the engine department.
- Supervising engine room watchkeeping and daily engineering operations.
- Maintaining and repairing machinery and auxiliary equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations, safety standards, and company procedures.
- Leading engine department personnel during maintenance and emergency operations.
Requirements:
- Valid Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch (OICEW) License.
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
- Good English communication skills.
- Minimum 12 months of actual onboard experience in the rank of 2nd Engineer.
- Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
