We are an international crewing agency specializing in personnel for the Offshore sector. Our client is a major energy company executing a large-scale project in Saudi Arabia.

Job Description:
An experienced Second Engineer is required for a Utility / Work Boat operating within the ARAMCO project. The role involves supporting marine operations in an active port or coastal environment. The successful candidate must be available for immediate mobilization and able to work within a multicultural team.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, main duties include but are not limited to:

· Ensuring safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of main and auxiliary engines, systems, and machinery.
· Supervising junior engine room ratings and maintaining accurate technical logs and reports.
· Carrying out planned maintenance system (PMS) tasks as scheduled.
· Ensuring strict compliance with all safety, environmental, and security procedures (ISM, ISPS).
· Assisting the Chief Engineer with inventory management, spare part procurement, and engine room budget control.

Requirements:

· Valid STCW certificates (including all mandatory engineering endorsements).
· Valid medical fitness certificate (ARAMCO medical approval readiness is a plus).
· Proficient in English communication (verbal and written).
· Mandatory: Minimum 12 months proven experience as a Second Engineer on AHTS (Anchor Handling Tug Supply) or PSV (Platform Supply Vessel) types.
· Previous experience working under major oil & gas company contracts (e.g., ARAMCO) is a strong advantage.

· Contract Duration: Short-term contract with possibility of extension.
· Work Schedule: Standard maritime rotation (typically 6x6).
· Salary: Competitive, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
