Navis is recruiting an experienced Second Engineer to join an MPSV DP2 operating in the North Sea.
The vessel has a GRT of 7,530, was built in 2008, and sails under the Norwegian Flag. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Chief Engineer with engine-room operations, machinery maintenance, technical troubleshooting, and safe operation of DP-related systems.

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assist the Chief Engineer with daily engine-room operations
• Supervise and perform planned and corrective maintenance
• Maintain main engines, auxiliary machinery, and technical systems
• Monitor machinery performance and troubleshoot technical defects
• Support maintenance of DP-related technical systems
• Maintain accurate engine-room records and planned maintenance documentation
• Participate in emergency drills, toolbox talks, and onboard safety activities
• Ensure compliance with company HSE and maritime procedures
• Valid Second Engineer Certificate of Competency / License
• Valid DP Maintenance Certificate
• Valid HUET with CA-EBS
• Minimum 18 months of actual onboard offshore experience in the rank of Second Engineer
• Previous experience on MPSV / OCV / DSV vessels required
• Valid COC and Endorsement
• Valid STCW certification package
• Valid Passport
• Valid Seaman’s Book with complete sea-service records
• Valid Medical Certificate
• Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• Good English communication skills
• Strong technical, troubleshooting, and safety awareness
