Job Description:
A vacancy is available for an experienced Second Engineer to join a Multi-Purpose Support Vessel (MPSV) for a single offshore trip. The assignment is expected to begin around 12 August 2026 and will last approximately 4–5 weeks. The successful candidate will support the Chief Engineer in maintaining the vessel's propulsion systems, machinery, and auxiliary equipment while ensuring safe and efficient engine room operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist the Chief Engineer in the operation and maintenance of all engine room machinery.
Supervise engine room personnel and daily maintenance activities.
Monitor propulsion, auxiliary systems, and engine room performance.
Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and international maritime regulations.
Participate in emergency drills and maintain accurate engine room records.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid Second Engineer Certificate of Competency (CoC)
Previous experience on MPSV or similar offshore support vessels preferred
Updated CV
Recent appraisals/references
Full set of valid certificates and documents
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book
Employment Details:
Contract Duration: 4–5 weeks
