We are currently seeking an experienced 2nd Engineer to join a DP2 Diving Support Vessel (DSV) operating on offshore projects in Saudi Arabian waters. The vessel supports subsea and diving operations and requires a qualified engineering officer to oversee engine room operations and ensure the reliability of all machinery and technical systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising engine room activities, managing maintenance schedules, and ensuring safe and efficient vessel operations in accordance with company and international maritime standards. Immediate joining is required.
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Supervising the operation and maintenance of main engines, auxiliary machinery, and engine room systems
• Managing planned maintenance and repair schedules for engineering equipment
• Ensuring the reliability and proper functioning of vessel power generation and distribution systems
• Coordinating engineering activities with other departments during DP and offshore operations
• Maintaining technical documentation and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Second Engineer’s License (COC)
• DP Maintenance Certificate
• Minimum 24 months of actual sea service on DSV / DP2 vessels in the rank of 2nd Engineer
• ARAMCO approved candidates are preferred
• Marlins Test with minimum 60% in all sections
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• Contract Duration: 60–90 days
• Salary: 400–420 USD per day
