Job Description:
We are urgently recruiting a 2nd Engineer to join an AHTS vessel. The vessel is engaged in offshore anchor handling and towing operations. The position requires strong technical competence and hands-on experience in winch operations and offshore marine support activities. Deep sea anchor handling and rig towing experience is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, duties may include but are not limited to:
• Operation, maintenance, and supervision of main and auxiliary engine systems
• Support anchor handling and towing operations in coordination with deck team
• Safe operation and monitoring of winch systems
• Ensuring machinery readiness for offshore operations
• Compliance with safety, environmental, and company procedures
Position:
2nd Engineer
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Previous experience on AHTS or offshore vessels
• Strong winch operation experience (mandatory)
• Deep sea anchor handling experience (preferred)
• Rig towing experience (preferred)
• Good technical knowledge of engine room operations
