Location: Angola / Offshore Operations
Job Description:
We urgently require an experienced Second Engineer to join an AHTS DP2 vessel operating offshore in Angola. The vessel is engaged in offshore support operations, and the role demands strong DP technical knowledge and proven experience on DP2 AHTS vessels. The successful candidate will support engine room operations, DP maintenance systems, and ensure safe and efficient performance of all machinery in compliance with offshore and company standards. Joining is planned for mid-February.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting the Chief Engineer in overall engine room management
• Operation and maintenance of main engines, auxiliary machinery, and DP-related systems
• Carrying out DP Maintenance and ensuring DP system reliability
• Supervising engine room watchkeeping and planned maintenance
• Monitoring fuel, lubricants, and consumables
• Ensuring compliance with Safety Management System (SMS) and offshore regulations

Requirements:
• Valid STCW Certificate of Competency as Second Engineer
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
• Extensive experience as Second Engineer on AHTS DP2 vessels
• DP Maintenance experience (mandatory)
• Proficiency in English communication
• Strong safety awareness and offshore work ethic
