Job Description:

We are currently recruiting a 2nd Engineer for an AHTS DP2 vessel operating in UAE waters.

The contract duration is 60–90 days with joining ASAP. The vessel is engaged in offshore operations, and candidates must have solid experience on similar vessel types. ADNOC-approved candidates are preferable.

Wages are 250 USD per day.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting the Chief Engineer in the safe and efficient operation of engine room machinery
• Supervising engine room watchkeeping and maintenance activities
• Ensuring proper maintenance and operation of DP systems and machinery
• Monitoring engine performance and troubleshooting technical issues
• Maintaining accurate engine room logs and planned maintenance records

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
• Second Engineer’s License
• DP Maintenance Certificate
• DPVM Certificate
• Minimum 24 months of actual onboard experience on similar type vessels in the rank of 2nd Engineer
• Minimum 500 DP hours (documented)
• ADNOC approval (preferable)
• Marlins Test with minimum 60% score in all sections
• Proficiency in English communication
• Fully vaccinated against Covid-19
