Job Description:
We are currently recruiting an experienced Second Engineer to join an AHTS DP2 vessel operating in the UAE.
The position offers a 60–90 day contract with an ASAP joining date. The successful candidate must have strong experience on similar DP2 vessels and meet the required DP certification and experience criteria. ADNOC-approved candidates are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Managing and maintaining the vessel’s main and auxiliary machinery.
- Ensuring safe and efficient engine room operations in accordance with company procedures.
- Supervising planned maintenance, inspections, and repairs of machinery and equipment.
- Supporting DP operations and ensuring reliable operation of relevant technical systems.
- Maintaining compliance with HSE requirements and international maritime regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid Second Engineer’s License.
- Valid DP Maintenance Certificate.
- Valid DPVM Certificate.
- Minimum 24 months of actual onboard experience as a Second Engineer on similar types of vessels.
- Minimum 500 DP hours.
- ADNOC approval is preferred.
- Valid COC and Endorsement.
- All valid STCW certificates.
- Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book.
- Valid Medical Certificate.
- Marlins Test – minimum 60% in all sections.
- Good English communication skills.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
