Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced 2nd Engineer to join an AHTS DP2 vessel operating in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting all engine room operations and maintaining DP-related systems in accordance with offshore operational and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Engineer with daily engine room operations and maintenance
- Maintain and monitor propulsion, auxiliary machinery, and DP-related equipment
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery
- Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and offshore regulations
- Support safe and efficient vessel operations during DP activities
Requirements:
- Valid Second Engineer’s License
- Valid DP Maintenance Certificate
- Valid DPVM Certificate
- Minimum 24 months of actual onboard experience on similar vessel types in the rank of 2nd Engineer
- Minimum 500 DP hours
- Valid STCW certificates
- Valid Medical Certificate
- Valid Marlins Test with a minimum score of 60% in all sections
- ADNOC approved candidates are preferable
- Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
